Then: Noah Felice, owner of Felice
Security in San Juan Capistrano, was arrested in December and
charged with 17 counts, including impersonating a police officer,
false imprisonment and perjury.
Authorities began investigating Felice after he allegedly shined
a police-style spotlight on an unmarked sheriff's car.
Sheriff's deputies searched his home and found 10 different
badges, Orange County Fire Authority identification, police jackets
and hats.
Felice had security contracts for homeowners associations in
Capistrano and Coto de Caza.
Now: Felice was sentenced April 25 to three years'
probation after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of
resisting arrest. The 15 other charges were dismissed. As conditions
of probation, Felice can't own or use a firearm. He received a
$1,000 fine and is to appear in court Tuesday to show proof of
payment. Felice can no longer work as a security guard, but can work
in the office and continue as an owner.
Attorney Dyke Huish said Felice has sold his house, is selling
his business and plans to move out of state. "This was hard," Huish
said. "He saw his business go from multimillion dollars to nothing
overnight." |
